WHERE:
- Genetics clinics are held on a regular basis at 700 Cassells with geneticists attending. Geneticists and genetics nurses/cousellors are a team of health care professionals who provide genetic services to residents of North Bay and our catchment area. Geneticists are medical doctors who have special training in the area of inherited diseases. They, along with genetics nurses/counsellors can provide information about a genetic disease or condition and explain how it is passed from one generation to another.
- Multidisciplinary clinics for families with Huntington disease are held in North Bay and in Sturgeon Falls. These clinics involve a team of specialists including neurology, genetics, social work, occupational therapy, speech language pathology.
