VACCINATION OF PETS

• It is now a legal requirement in the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit service area that all dogs and cats are regularly vaccinated against rabies.
   
• All dogs and cats three months of age and older that are under your care and custody are required to have a current vaccination against rabies.
   
• Pet owners who fail to immunize or re-immunize their dogs and cats may be fined under the Health Protection and Promotion Act.
